The guitar has been painstakingly matched to the proportions of Mark O'Connor's herringbone dreadnought guitar made by John Baxendale of the Colorado Guitar Company, which is his current performing guitar. This acrylic painting by Maggie O'Connor features a stampede of wild horses: an appaloosa, pinto, palomino, bay, red roan, and blue roan dance across the guitar top as the twinkling stars shine from behind the mystery of the guitar strings and a cloudy mist of the pick guard.
